I got a text from my partner asking if I would like dinner and movie?
Erm Yes! lol
Stage 1: O’Neils
So we started off at O’Neils, an awesome Irish bar in Glasgow Merchant City. Their food is incredible! Such a friendly, warm atmosphere. They have bars all around the UK, definitely go check them out.
Stage 2: Movies
Avengers Assemble of course! 5* from me absolutely,so much that we are planning to go again! The cinema in Glasgow was an experience I never thought I would ever have in my lifetime lol. We choose the seats to the very back, it was a small hall, considering the size of the others, fully booked and packed. We sat for a while waiting on the movie, five teenagers came in, loud and obnoxious. We though “oh great lol” they sat in front of us. We were content watching the adverts, when……. they pull out a large vodka bottle and wine bottle lol I couldn’t believe it! We then had a man sit in front of them (remember this was a small hall) he was 7ft tall! So basically we could only smell wine, see nothing and hear everything lol. Other than that I loved the movie. I just couldn’t stop laughing at everything!
Stage 3: After the movie giggles, I definitely needed a drink myself!
We headed to Waxy O’Connors another Irish Bar. It has to be the most amazing and best bar in Glasgow. Spread over 4 floors, it built to look like you are in a tree. Woodwork throughout, 4 bars, mazes, stairs everywhere and just mesmerizing!
An eventful night in Glasgow, but worth it was hilarious and I have to say although I am from Glasgow born and raised, I would still say to everyone “It is the best night out!”
